For those of you who remember my “I drank the Kool-aid” post from last year, I feel like it’s time I let the world know that I am no longer partaking of the sugary goodness of Microsoft. I actually started working for myself back in 2002, and had a successful career as an independent contractor for a number of years. Working for Microsoft was a great honor, as I think anyone who has worked there would agree. However, after almost a year there, I realized that I have always been happiest when working for myself, so I quit Microsoft and am back on my own, contracting independently.
That being said, I’ll be speaking at the St. Louis SharePoint User’s Group meeting on September 9th, so if you’re in the area, please come by and say hi. (I’ll be posting more info soon about the meeting.)
