SharePoint Saturday in Kansas City was a great success, thanks in part to many volunteers, especially Becky Isserman. The event was a great way for people to get training from experts who work with various aspects of SharePoint, and best of all, it was free. When almost 200 people spend their whole Saturday sitting in lectures about SharePoint, it’s obvious that the event is meeting a need in the community, and I was happy to be a part of it. I had the privelege of giving my Intro to WCM lecture at the end of the day, to a room of hearty troopers who managed to stay awake, despite a hot room on 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon.
